While there was sad news that the epic NYE Vancouver fireworks show would not be happening for 2019/2020 (although, it will be returning again next year), at least there are still tons of fun alternatives happening around the city.

NYE 2020 @ TELUS World of Science
With five fully licensed bars, two rooms of music on two floors, six of the city’s top DJs and performers, and an amazing sound and light system, you’ll be dancing well into the new year.

New Year’s Eve at The Fox
The always-happening Fox Theatre hosts a New Year’s Eve with a roaring-20s-themed celebration. The evening will include DJs, classic live music, comedy, drag, vintage 20s decor, live musical performances, and more.

Murder at the Gatsby Mansion

For those looking to laugh in the new year
New Year’s Eve at Yuk Yuk’s
Laugh your way into the new year with an evening comedy show at Yuk Yuk’s Vancouver. The show starts at 10 and ends with the countdown on stage. Tickets to the show include a champagne toast and party favours for the countdown.
