Try this Hassle-Free Cooking Class that Delivers the Ingredients Right to Your Door

ThisvVirtual cookery school, created by Fable’s founder Trevor Bird, will share trade secrets for eating well at home in classes launching May 10th. All proceeds will go to Food Coalition YVR to support those most in need.

One of Vancouver’s much-loved restaurants is launching a virtual cookery class, bringing Fable’s farm-to-table experience into the home and reveal the tricks of the trade; including core cooking principles and ‘kitchen hacks’ to become a better cook instantly.

To make the classes 100% hassle-free and to reduce grocery store visits, meal kits will be delivered ahead of each class, with all necessary ingredients for a three-course meal.  It’s the perfect activity for at-home date nights or family activity.

The first class, taking place on Mother’s Day, is designed to help families create a sophisticated three-course brunch as a treat for mums, or as an activity for those who are spending this Mother’s Day “together, apart”. Kicking off with a fresh spring pear & walnut salad, the menu also includes slow-cooked salmon, potato latkes with goat cheese, and hollandaise thick-cut sourdough, as well as a decadent maple cake, served with Vancouver’s favourite Rain or Shine ice cream.

All proceeds from the project will go to the Food Coalition: a local collective of restaurants providing meals to the city’s most vulnerable residents during the COVID-19 crisis.

Tickets for the Mother’s Day launch of “Chef’s Table” are available here.
