Lot’s of cities have a parade for St. Patrick’s Day. Vancouver has 10 days of Celtic-themed parties, markets and concerts.
CelticFest returns to Vancouver, March 7-March 17, with a packed lineup of familiar and new events where you can wear your green with pride. The festival kicks off Saturday, March 7, with a tribute to the great Celtic punk rockers The Pogues at the Imperial theatre on Main Street. Some of Vancouver’s top bands perform covers from the Pogues’ epic 30-year catalogue.
Festivities continue on Wednesday, March 11, with a pair of whisky-themed events at The Belmont club on Granville Street. Continue reading:
