During all the New Year festivities, you have the opportunity to widen your cultural exploration even further with Aboriginal and Jewish performing artsΒ  – the Talking Stick Festival and Chutzpah! will set you up and inspire you.

Lanterns in the Garden Illuminates Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens for Lunar New Year

A festival that will illuminate the night with thousands of beautiful lanterns to help celebrate the Chinese New Year is coming to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens. The festival, known asΒ Lanterns in the Garden is an annual event with themed lanterns, fun activities, and delicious food!

The memorable spectacle will take place over three weekends in February and March, starting on Friday, February 16, 2018. You’re invited to the garden to take a trip back in time to enjoy an authentic & traditional YUAN XIAO festival.
