The holiday season is one of my favourite times of year in Vancouver, because it means I get to experience one of my favourite Christmas traditions: the VanDusen Festival of Lights! Opening December 1, this unique annual event is a winter wonderland in the city.

It’s that time of year when you’ll be seeing more and more holiday events added every week until the final days of 2018! What’s new this week? A winter festival that involves downhill tubing downtown, a Santa Clause trip across Canada, a German-inspired market by the ocean, a town of candy, Christmas on a mountain top and more. (There’s some non-holiday stuff too!)
