Patio season may be drawing to a close, but there’s plenty to get excited about when it comes to this year’s EAT! Vancouver, which is offering an exciting array of programming featuring celebrity chefs and top-notch food and wine.

You’ve never experienced an Eat! Vancouver quite like this.

The largest food festival of its kind in Canada, Eat! Vancouver is best know for its super-sized food expo, held this year in BC Place, May 1-May 3. Hundreds of exhibitors, chefs, brewers and more come together to show off artisan foods and drinks, offer cooking demos and sell the latest kitchen gizmos.

Mega Food and Cooking Fest: EAT! Vancouver: June 10-12

Vancouver foodies, your moment has arrived.  This weekend EAT! Vancouver takes over the Vancouver Convention Centre.

This massive and multifaceted food expo features cooking demos from celebrity chefs, beer and wine tastings, chances to sample dishes from some of the city’s better restaurants, an international food fair and, or course, hundreds of exhibitors showing off the latest kitchen gadgets, freshly made and prepared foods and drinks and more.

The 9th annual EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival is back at the Vancouver Convention Centre June 10 – 12, 2011.

This huge, family-friendly festival is packed with delights for anyone who loves food, cooking and eating: EAT! not only showcases celebrity chefs, cooking techniques, and world cuisine, it also brings together local restaurants, wineries, food and beverage manufacturers, and 250+ exhibitors under one enormous roof.

The three-day EAT! Vancouver festival is loaded with local talent. The Food Network Celebrity Cooking Stage features Vancouver’s own Iron Chef Rob Feenie and current Top Chef Canada Contestant and Vancouver restaurateur Dale MacKay (who just opened Ensemble Restaurant at 850 Thurlow Street, where Corner Suite Bistro de Luxe used to be). Then there’s the Bite of Vancouver Restaurant Pavilion, where 14 Vancouver restaurants—including Milestones, Ebo, and the awesome Dona Cata Mexican Restaurant—offer up their favourite dishes at no more than $4 a piece.

With fare for the amateur chef and the lazy gourmet alike, Vancouver’s Food + Cooking Festival returns this weekend.

From May 22nd – 24th, BC Place Stadium will be taken over by celebrity chefs, saucy sommeliers, and plenty of local restaurants offering up bite-sized tastes of their wares to curious locals and visitors.
