One of my favourite things about living in Vancouver is how you can get anywhere in the city, and to some great day trip places, via public transit. There isn’t really any need to drive anywhere. Which is just as well because driving in any city can be a bit of a pain!

I’ve been taking Vancouver’s public transit all my life and I’ve got the TransLink routes locked down. While I’m always a firm believer of walking everywhere, sometimes you need to hop on the train. Inside Vancouver Neighbourhoods: Commercial Drive

Commercial Drive is home to an exciting mix of independent cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. After all, “The Drive” is arguably the most diverse and colourful neighbourhood in Vancouver. It’s also ground zero for many of Vancouver’s largest festivals, including Illuminares, the Dyke March, Italian Day, the Vancouver Poetry Festival, the Parade of Lost Souls, East Side Pride and Car-Free Day.
