When the wind is blowing in Vancouver, the wetsuits come out. Windsurfers, kiteboarders, and other wind-propelled sports all rely on a gusty day to take to the ocean and practice their sport.
It’s a sight to see and now, thanks to a change in bylaws, the City of Vancouver has a dedicated area for kiteboarding on the beaches of Spanish Banks in Kitsilano.
