Labour Day, which takes place the first Monday in September (September 5, 2022), has been a Canadian statutory holiday since 1894. Not only did it originally commemorate workers’ causes but in more recent times, it represents a big summer hurrah before the return to school and work. In Vancouver, there are so many different ways to take advantage of the upcoming long weekend.
