The largest Latin American film fest in Canada is coming to Vancouver.
Nearly 17 films from 16 countries are set to be showcased at the 2015 Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, Sept. 3-Sept. 13. Since 2003, the festival has brought the best feature films, documentaries and short works from the Spanish-speaking world to Vancouver’s theatres.

According to the 2006 census, there are a mere 28,575 people of Latin, Central and South American origins living in the Vancouver metropolitan area – or just a tiny 1.36 percent of the population. I find that pretty amazing, considering that Vancouver hosts one of the best Latin America film festivals in all of Canada.
