Filming in Vancouver: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 3, Loudermilk, Motherland, and more

Lana Condor will star in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 3

We’ve got horror, we’ve got romance, we’ve got dark comedy, and—yes, folks—we’ve even got witchy supernatural drama.

What are we talking about? Why, Vancouver’s screen scene, of course.

In this week’s roundup of what’s filming, there’s a freaky scarefest about high-school students being pursued by a serial killer while on the flip-side, there’s a romcom about the travails of the heart during high school.

Meanwhile, a recovering alcoholic blusters his way through the third season of a comedy TV series while a trio of witches gear up to fight for America (and no, we’re not talking about Charmed).

Something witchy this way comes.

Well, to be honest, they’ve been coming this way for some time now. But a new witch-themed TV series joins the growing collection of witchcrafty productions in Vancouver this week.

As there’s also an Indigenous food TV series and a feature film about coffee with a side of Kareem starting up, you may want to ensure you don’t read this on an empty stomach.

Plus, there’s a feature film starring one of the main cast members of Riverdale.

Check out what’s going on in Vancouver’s screen scene after the jump.

Filming in Vancouver: Harry and Meghan, Frankenstein, Motherland, and The Turning

Hey, is that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? No, it’s Tiffany Marie Smith and Charlie Field in Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal.

While last week was full of comings and goings, and although this week is a little calmer, there’s still plenty going on to chat about–with quite the cast of characters.

Although the Charmed reboot has been filming here, there’s a very different kind of witch-based TV series that’ll be coming to shoot in town.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—or rather, the TV movie about them—will call it a wrap.

Elsewhere in the city, Frankenstein becomes a detective in a new adaptation of the classic tale.

And a horror feature will be zipping in to shoot only for a few days.

So if you want to know more about all of these shows, here’s the rundown of what’s going on in Vancouver’s screen scene this week.

Filming in Vancouver: Jason Momoa, Seth Rogen, Child’s Play, Chesapeake Shores, and more

Aquaman star Jason Momoa is coming to Vancouver to head up a new TV series.

While this week’s roundup of what’s shooting in Vancouver has a recurring theme of projects revolving around child characters, they may not be what you expect at all.

To wit, there’s a sci-fi babysitting TV series, a horror remake, and an R-rated comedy (yes, an R-rated film about kids!).

But there are lot of other things in the mix, including a new sci-fi TV series with a rising action star, a potential new TV series about warrior witches, and some productions that recently wrapped nearby in B.C.

Here’s a look at what’s been coming and going from Vancouver’s screen scene and elsewhere in the province.
