30 Days of IPA starts today at Vancouver pub The Three Brits

Beginning today, Aug 1, craft beer fans have something to celebrate. Each day throughout August, one of the pubs or bars in the Donnelly Group chain will tap a new and different cask of IPA.

The IPA, or India Pale Ale, is a hoppy, often high-alcohol-content (usually in the 6 – 7 per cent range) brew that has come to almost define the craft beer revolution in North America. During 30 Days of IPA, 10 participating venues will feature two to three different IPAs throughout the month. Each new IPA will be on tap at that particular location until it runs out, with only one keg or cask on hand to pour.

What’s exciting about this, to local beer aficionados at any rate, is that many of the IPAs aren’t currently available on tap in Vancouver.

Top 5 Super Bowl Parties in Vancouver
