The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) is a Vancouver tradition, screening dozens of films each November and February. For the first time, VIMFF’s Fall Series is an online event, streaming from November 20th to 29th. It includes over 20 films and live presentations about rock climbing, skiing, and outdoor adventures spread across five shows.
Every February since 1998, outdoorsy Vancouverites have flocked to the theatres to take in a slate of adventure flicks at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. Known as VIMFF to locals, 2020’s festival runs February 21st to March 1st. It includes 70 films, 3 workshops, and 28 speakers at 35 separate events spread over 10 different Vancouver-area venues.
