Feeling the winter chill? The 9th Annual Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival is comin’ in hot with 30 vendors and 74 flavours to warm you up!

Running from January 19 to February 14, the festival spotlights Vancouver’s best (and all local) chocolatiers, pastry shops, bakeries, cafes, gelato, and ice cream makers. Always with the goal of making the humble hot chocolate the bombshell it’s meant to be, this year features 74 flavours from 30 locations to tickle a chocoholic’s cocoa fancy. (And for those looking for a dairy-free option, never fear; several vendors are whipping up tasty plant-based options!)

With the local mountains officially opening for skiing and snowboarding, the winter season is officially on! If you’re looking for some adrenaline-packed entertainment that’s easier than the typical board sports of winter, snow tubing is the best answer!

However, our extraordinary Douglas Firs are some of the largest trees in the world for a reason – RAIN! It is true; our beautiful city has one of the wettest and foggiest climates in all of Canada. However, if you love trails and the elements, with a little bit of strategic shopping, you can embrace countless outdoor adventures during our winter months!
