From renovation overhaul to DIY do-overs, the Vancouver Home + Design Show is where big ideas, trusted advice, and all come together.

For four days only, from October 27 to 30, 2016 at the Vancouver Convention Centre – West, the 33^rd annual home show invites home décor and design enthusiasts from all over Greater Vancouver to enjoy a weekend complete with more than 350 trusted brands and local companies.

Brand new to this year’s show is the WORKSHOP series presented by Z95.3 FM which features four of Vancouver’s finest local artisans, who will be showing attendees the secrets of their craft. Each workshop is hands-on and extremely creative, so DIY lovers – this one’s for you!

Fox and Flourish – Intro to Brush Lettering

When: October 27, 6 pm to 8 pm

Learn the art of brush lettering in this hands-on workshop by Christina Luo of Fox and Flourish. Specializing in calligraphy and creative services, Christina combines traditional techniques with modern sensibility. Celsia Florist – Wreaths & More

European inspired with a mix of vintage and modern, Celsia Florist takes pride working with the most unique and the freshest flowers to adorn any space. Spool of Thread is based in the heart of Mount Pleasant and they’re bringing all the tools and materials you need to create your next sewing project! Lucy Poskitt Textiles – Looming 101

Learn the intricacies of hand-looming and weaving with Lucy Poskitt, a Vancouver-born, Victoria-based textile artist and contemporary weaver. Lucy’s work gained international exposure and she’s taught tapestry workshops across Canada.
