Canada’s Largest Gluten Free Festival is in Vancouver this Weekend

Canada’s largest gluten free event is coming to Vancouver this weekend, and those who haven’t been able to enjoy a good grilled cheese sandwich or crispy croissant can get together and commiserate – while eating some excellent gluten free food! The whole festival is 100% gluten free, so those with food intolerance, allergies, or celiac disease can leave their worries behind and enjoy all the free samples.

The Vancouver Gluten Free Expo will be happening at Canada Place on Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, January 14, 2018. The event will feature a wide variety of gluten free products that you can’t usually find in stores, including pizza, beer, breads, and more.

What was once a small, modest event in the Croatian Cultural Centre has blown up in size to feature over 140 exhibitors, and 600 products underneath one roof. It’s the ultimate showcase of gluten free products!

The best thing about food shows is all the free product sampling! There will be beer, pizza, breads, bagels, and much more will be available for your sampling pleasure. Plus you’ll likely find coupons and great deals on GF products.

There will also be live cooking demonstrations from professionals, who will provide advice, guidance, and nutrition knowledge for dealing with sensitive stomachs.

Whether you’ve been gluten free for your whole life or you’re just starting to tackle the diet and all of the restrictions that it brings (i.e. even crab cakes contain flour!?), this is a great space to learn that avoiding wheat flour isn’t as hard as you thought. No tasteless, dry and crumbly food need apply.

The Vancouver Gluten Free Expo will take place on Saturday, Jan 13 – Sunday, Jan 14, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Canada Place East. Tickets are available online with prices ranging from $12.60 – $19.90. Kids 10 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult.
