‘So, what are you doing on New Years Eve?’ It’s the question on everyone’s minds as we creep closer to the end of 2018. Isn’t there a saying that the way you spend your new years eve is a glimpse into how your next year will be?
Well, while most of Vancouver will be at the epic New Years Eve Party and fireworks show in Downtown Vancouver, maybe you’d like to do something a little different this year’s end…

Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon
You could do this on the comfort of your couch, but it’s much more fun with a roomful of strangers. On December 31, watch the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy at The Cultch. Check in starts at 8:30am and goes all the way until 11:00pm. That’s a heck of a lot of hobbits!

3rd Annual NYE Skytrain Party
Party4Health will be hosting their annual Skytrain dance party on December 31st to make for a surprisingly fun commute, wherever you need to go. It will almost be like you’re partying with Seth Rogen when his various “Transit Alerts” come over the loudspeaker!

Polar Bear Swim
Okay, so it’s technically the next day… But, we’ve gotta include the Polar Bear Swim in the list of unique things to do for NYE in Vancouver! Do whatever you want on the night before, but make sure that you’re ready to freeze your ass offmore info the next morning at the always enjoyable (for spectators) polar bear swim! Start your new year off right with some frighteningly cold water!
