The cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 reunites for BH90210.
This week, two TV series call it a wrap on their latest seasons.
And both have roots in the 1990s.
One is a reboot within a reboot (how’s that for confusing) about a hit ‘90s teen soap opera while the other is a comedy-drama based on a 1990 crime novel.
In other news, a freaky new film will be coming to shoot in town next month.
So if you’re interested in finding out more, here’s a rundown of what’s happening in the local screen scene this week and soon to come.
There’s Someone Inside Your House
First up, filmmaker Patrick Brice (Creep) will direct the teen creepfest There’s Someone Inside Your House for Netflix.
Based on the novel by Stephanie Perkins, the film will follow a teenage girl who becomes troubled by a series of murders at her high school.

The film will shoot in Vancouver from August 26 to October 18.
The cast hasn’t been announced yet so stay tuned to see who this production brings to town.
BH90210
While that’s still to come, two TV series are finishing up filming this week.
BH90210 finishes filming Season 1 on Wednesday (July 31). The mockumentary started filming back on May 27.
The show isn’t a reboot but is a fake documentary about the original cast reuniting to film a reboot of the hit teen soap opera, Beverly Hills, 90210, that ran from 1990 to 2000.

Hometown boy Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling are all back on board.
Luke Perry
The series will also pay tribute to the late Luke Perry, who sadly died on March 4.
Other former cast members will include Carol Potter and Christine Elise.
La La Anthony
The cast will also include La La Anthony, Vanessa Lachey, and Ivan Sergei.

And there’s not much longer to wait as the show’s premiere is just around the corner: August 7 on Fox.

And it’s also a wrap for Get Shorty on Wednesday (July 31). Shooting for Season 3 began on May 6.
The comedy-drama series is inspired by the 1990 novel of the same name. Unlike the 1995 feature film adaptation, this version doesn’t use the plot or characters from the novel but adapts the basic premise.
In this TV series, Miles Daly, played by Chris O’Dowd, attempts to shift out of working an enforcer for a gang boss in Nevada and transition into becoming a filmmaker with the help of a producer (Ray Romano). Unfortunately, the world of crime follows him to Hollywood.
Sarah Stiles
In Season 3, Miles is expected to become more ruthless as he tries to climb the Hollywood ladder.
The cast includes Sean Bridgers, Lidia Porto, Carolyn Dodd, Goya Robles, Megan Stevenson, Steven Weber, and Sarah Stiles.
Luis Moncada
This season will see Isaac Keys bumped up to a series regular and will also include recurring guest star roles by Luis Moncada (Breaking Bad), Michaela Watkins (Casual), and Seychelle Gabriel (Sleepy Hollow).
Seasons 1 and 2 took place in Los Angeles while the production relocated to Vancouver for this latest season (with additional scenes to be shot in L.A.).
