The most dazzling display of the winter season is coming back this Friday, November 22, 2019, when the Capilano Suspension Bridge opens its gates for Canyon Lights!

On until January 26th, the Canyon Lights Winter Festival will feature hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights decorating the entire park. You’ll also get the chance to see the “eight tallest Christmas trees in the world!

From November 22, 2019, to January 26, 2020, the suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, the rainforest, and the canyon will be transformed into a world of festive light and visual enchantment.

Open 7 days a week (except for Christmas Day), you can visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge any time from 11 am to 9 pm. However, for the optimal Canyon Lights viewing time, aim to arrive after 5:00 pm.

You’ll be able to find amazing spectacles around every corner, but the star treatment of the park is given to the 30-ton Douglas Firs of Treetops Adventure. Treetops Adventure is a series of seven suspension bridges attached to eight 250 years old Douglas-firs with viewing platforms, reaching up to 110 feet above the forest floor. These magnificent Douglas firs will be lit above and below the collars, making these trees the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world!

There will also be fun for all-ages aside from the light show. Additional activities include a Snowy Owl Prowl, gingerbread cookie decorating (by donation)  and sing-along carols with the holiday band.

For the easiest way to get to the park, there will be a free shuttle operating from Canada Place to the Suspension Bridge every 15-30 minutes between 10:30 am and 9:00 pm during the duration of Canyon Lights.
