It was a hellish evening in Vancouver on Saturday, January 18, with the cast and crew of Netflix’s popular series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina convening with local film industry, government and media to celebrate the show’s third season, which hits the streaming service on Friday, January 24.

Co-hosted by Tourism Vancouver and Netflix, and held at Parq Vancouver, the spooky soirée featured Chilling Adventures of Sabrina themed food, cocktails and décor, with the show’s spunky soundtrack setting the mood. Guests mixed and mingled with cast members, including Gavin Leatherwood (Nicholas Scratch), Miranda Otto (Aunt Zelda), Lucy Davis (Aunt Hilda), Lachlan Watson (Theo) and others. The event celebrated not only the show’s third season premiere, but also its connection to Vancouver with all three seasons – as well as the fourth, currently in production – filmed in and around the city.

The audience was treated to an advance screening of Part 3, episode 1, after which the cast took the stage for a moderated panel about the show’s success, secrets of Part 3, and their positive experiences filming in Vancouver (spoiler alert: they adore eating at Vancouver’s hottest restaurants, including Acorn, MeeT and Guilt & Co.!).
