Each spring Vancouver’s VanDusen Botanical Garden hosts a series of plant shows and floral events. Stop by to view the gorgeous blooms, learn more about cultivating plants, and perhaps even purchase some to take home.

Vancouver Dahlia Society Tuber Sale: April 8

Enthusiasts with the Vancouver Dahlia Society have been growing these showy blooms since 1955. Each spring they meet at Van Dusen Botanical Garden for the Tuber Sale. Many of the bulbs on offer come from winners from the previous year’s fall flower show. Admission is by donation.
