Get ready to laugh out loud (and outside) at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival (GOCF) live in Stanley Park from September 15-16. Some of the funniest comedians in the biz will take over Vancouver’s iconic outdoor destination for a wildly hilarious weekend of stand-up comedy.
Festival
Comedy superstars Kevin Hart and Russell Peters are coming to town to close out GOCF’s cross-country 2023 Canadian summer tour and headline Vancouver’s inaugural stop on the festival. They will be joined by former The Late Late Show bandleader Reggie Watts, known for his musical comedy stylings and beatboxing skills.
Attendees can choose between VIP reserved tickets to see their favourite comedians up close with table service and other festival perks or general admission tickets available with first-come, first-served grass seating behind the VIP area.
Comedians
Friday, Sept. 15 – Russell Peters, Reggie Watts & Steph Tolev
Saturday, Sept. 16 – Kevin Hart & Friends, hosted by Katie Westman
Keep an eye out for more comedians to be announced in the lineup.
Location
The festival grounds and stage come to the great outdoors of Brockton Point, the picturesque northeast point of Stanley Park. Stroll the Seawall on your way to the event for scenic views and some of the city’s best photo ops, or visit the collection of hand-carved totem poles and Coast Salish cedar gateways.
The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival aims to be an inclusive and safe experience that celebrates and features all forms of performance comedy, from locals to superstars, while supporting the communities and parks it visits. Debuting in 2021, the festival has grown coast-to-coast this year, with stops in Edmonton, Halifax, and Calgary, before heading to Vancouver.
