Run Away to Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Koozå’ Circus Act

Cirque du Soleil‘s thrilling international production Koozå comes to Concord Pacific Place in False Creek this fall from October 21 to December 31. Get swept away under the Big Top to a whimsical world packed with wondrous characters, daring acrobatics, mischievous clowns, lavish costuming, colourful sets, and a powerful live score.

Circus Act

Already acclaimed by audiences from across the globe after opening in 2007, Koozå has mesmerized nearly eight million spectators to date with over four thousand performances in 65 cities across 22 countries. A spirited return to Cirque du Soleil’s origins, Koozå pays tribute to traditional circus roots in all its splendour with some audacious acrobatic prowess and bold comedic performances.

Story Time

Filled with chills, thrills, laughter and Cirque’s trademark sense of wonder, Koozå unfolds as a series of non-stop, adrenaline-packed, edge-of-your-seat surprises. Under the watch of the mysterious “Trickster,” who possesses electrifying powers, we follow the adventures of a character called “the Innocent” before magically being transported to an exotic yet zany kingdom.

Production

Considered to be the most audacious Cirque du Soleil touring production yet, Koozå takes audiences on a gripping, emotional ride with its nail-biting, often mind-boggling acrobatic displays of athleticism. Inspired by classic international circus arts, the show’s performances display the remarkable showmanship, exceptional execution, and incredible agility Cirque is famous for – most notably found in Koozå‘s High Wire, Teeterboard, and Wheel of Death acts.
