The countdown to Canada’s largest food and drink celebration is on as Dine Out Vancouver Festival (DOVF) returns with more restaurants than ever before from January 17 to February 4. This season, diners can enjoy 19 days of feasting and fun, perfect for both visitors and locals alike as a great way to celebrate Vancouver’s world-renowned culinary scene while showing your support for local eateries.

Starting out in 2002, a group of food and wine enthusiasts got together with Destination Vancouver to pitch the idea of a fixed-price menu deal to get diners out and into restaurants during a traditionally slow time of the year.

Restaurants Galore

This year’s festival has the highest number of participating restaurants to date, with more than 380 restaurants from the North Shore to downtown, through Richmond and beyond, dishing up menus in fixed price points ranging from $20 to $65 per person.

Foodies can also look forward to the return of the Vancouver World Chef Exchange, where a team of talented international chefs will come together with celebrated local chefs to create unique collaborative dinners at a selection of Michelin-recognized restaurants, along with Street Food City 12 (Jan. 20-28), Vancouver’s original food truck festival, now in its 12th edition.
