Before they head into the Stanley Cup playoffs with home-ice advantage in April, catch a game at Rogers Arena and be a part of their dream regular season before it ends.

Pre-Game Activities

There are plenty of sports bars around for pre-game fun located centrally downtown, such as Red Card Sports Bar, The Living Room, GoodCo Bar, Dublin Calling, Tap & Barrel, and The Blarney Stone. For places near Rogers Arena in False Creek, try the aptly named The SportsBar (inside the arena), the Shark Club, or The Pint.

The Parq Casino complex has tons of options next door, including Honey Salt, The Victor, D/6 Bar & Lounge, and BC Kitchen. Rogers Arena is also just steps away from Gastown, Yaletown, Chinatown, and the downtown core, with plenty of entertainment and dining choices within walking distance of the Stadium District.

For sports fans, pay a visit to the BC Sports Hall of Fame (open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm) located at Gate A inside nearby BC Place to learn more about local sports history.

Brewery Tours

Why not enjoy a self-guided craft brewery tour through Mount Pleasant’s historic Brewery District before watching a Canucks game? Hit up a combination of 33 Acres, Brassneck, Main Street Brewing, R&B Brewing, Faculty, Brewhall, Red Truck, and Steamworks, all within a few blocks from one another on or near Main, not far from Rogers Arena. If you’re looking for guided brewery tours led by a beer expert, you can also book a Vancouver Brewery Tour.

There’s also The Magnet, Alibi Room, and Yaletown Brewing, all located downtown closer to the arena, for those seeking a variety of local craft beers on tap in one spot.
