With snow blanketing the mountain tops, November is a great time for low-elevation valley bottom hikes. This loop route in Golden Ears Provincial Park is a great hike for a wet or cloudy day. It travels through lush forest along the banks of Gold Creek and passes by a beautiful waterfall.

Summer 2020 BC Parks Reservations Open Soon

It’s still winter outside, but summer camping season will be here before you know it. In 2019 over 3 million people camped at a BC Park. If you want to camp this year, now’s the time to start planning and making reservations.

Golden Ears – “The Mountains are Calling, and I Must Go”

Gazing at the North Shore mountains, I am often reminded of John Muir’s famous  and beloved quote, “The Mountains are calling, and I must go.” This simple, yet inspirational message, says it all!  When listening to Muir’s call and seeking mountain adventures Vancouverites look first to the North Shore Mountains. Then eyes will turn to the majestic Sea to Sky corridor.  However, directing the compass east points explorers to a wonderful outdoor playground known as Golden Ears Provincial Park.
