Join City of Vancouver Mayor Robertson,  John Furlong, some Olympic athletes and more fun on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at  the official public open house for  the Olympic and ParaOlympic Village.  A chance to relive some Olympic memories but also to see new public space facilities and landscaped park  after the Olympics. Please check this poster from the City of Vancouver, for more event details and public entrances into the Village park.

The public park area is nearly complete. More people discover it weekly with its outdoor seating areas, footpaths, bike path, children’s playground area, man-made water courses that attract ducks, gigantic sparrow sculptures, the historic red Salt Building, innovative landscaping use of old railroad ties  and much more to see.
