The unofficial kick-off for the holiday season is just around the corner when the 16th annual TELUS presents the Vancouver Santa Claus Parade will be taking place in downtown.

To get you into the festive spirit, the family-favourite event will feature more than 40 marching bands, choirs, festive floats, and community groups… as well as a special float for Santa himself!

The event will be taking place Sunday, December 1st, and includes a few fun surprises!

The most unique Halloween event in Vancouver is back again for 2018

Let the reverie and the revelry begin, it’s almost time for the Parade of Lost Souls! For over twenty five years, the parade has been rocking the Commercial Drive area with costumed revellers, live bands, art installations, delicious food trucks, clowns (ugh), and much, much, much, more from the minds and hearts of local artists!

On Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 7 – 10pm, the parade will take to the streets in its usual community-driven fashion. As for its exact location… the final parade route is kept a closely guarded secret – revealed only at midnight the night before.

The Parade of Lost Souls 2017 Celebrates the Altar Ego

One of the longest running traditions in the city, The Parade of Lost Souls, is a much-anticipated annual event that has been conceptualized and produced by volunteers for over twenty-five years! The iconic event is a favourite for many, in part because of all the collaboration and community effort it takes to put this event together.

Shrouded in mystery, the annual Parade of Lost Souls takes place at a secret location that isn’t revealed until midnight on the night before the event (typically, on or around the Commercial Drive area). This year, the parade will celebrate the “Altar Ego”, and you’ll have a chance to bring it out to play on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 7pm.

Vancouver Pride Week - Parade | Things To Do In Vancouver This Weekend

The culmination of Pride Week in Vancouver erupts in a grand finale of short shorts, rainbows, feather boas, and lots and lots of celebration during the 38th annual Pride Parade taking place this Sunday, July 31 from 12pm – 3pm in downtown Vancouver.

Starting at 12pm sharp on Sunday afternoon, the parade will kick-off at Robson and Thurlow, run down Denman Street and along Beach avenue to end at the huge Pride Festival at Sunset Beach, which runs until 6pm.
