The 2017 Vancouver Zombiewalk Brings Your Nightmares to Life this Weekend

Feeling hungry for some braiiiiiins this weekend? You’ll be in good company when the 2017 Vancouver Zombiewalk shuffles its way through the city on Saturday, August 26.

This “parade” of the living dead is one of the largest flashmobs in Vancouver and has been happening since 2005. Each year, the mob grows larger and participants of all ages join with creative costumes and lots of fake blood.

The 2017 Vancouver Zombiewalk will be assembling at 12:30 pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery (South Side), with the walk officially beginning at 4:00pm.

The Undead are Coming: Zombiewalk 2015 Hits Vancouver, Sept 5

Zombies are getting ready to descend on the streets of downtown Vancouver, again.

The undead are set to take over Vancouver for Zombiewalk 2015, Saturday, Sept. 5. The annual rite sees thousands of people – dressed in gory costumes, complete with gruesome makeup – parade through downtown, terrifying passersby and little children, all in the name of good fun.

The procession of ghouls is set to kick off at 4 p.m. sharp. Zombies are asked to kindly assemble at 3 p.m., though – in a mysterious twist – the starting point and parade route have yet to be revealed. Anyone is invited to participate, in what organizers are calling the city’s largest public flash mob.  Continue reading:

The 2014 Vancouver Zombie Walk Shuffles into Town this Saturday

Summer in Vancouver ain’t officially over until the streets are taken over by the undead during the annual Zombie Walk, a flashmob-esque event that aims to scare. This year’s event will be happening on Saturday, September 6th.

Every year the Vancouver Zombie Walk grows bigger, with more participants of all ages, ever more creative costumes and levels of GORE, and more huge quantities of blood-soaked fun every single time. 

To participate, all you really need to do is cover yourself tastefully in fake blood, meet at the Art Gallery and shuffle your way with other zombie corpses to English Bay.

It’s that time of year again.

Ready to feast on brains on the streets of downtown Vancouver, roving in one unholy mob from victim to hapless victim, leaving a trail of (fake) blood and gore in your wake?

Zombiewalk 2013 is coming to Vancouver, Aug. 17.  The annual rite sees thousands of undead – dressed in ghoulish makeup, with dripping flesh wounds – turn the streets of Vancouver into a scene of unspeakable carnage, all in the name of good fun.

Anyone is invited to participate, though afterward you’ll have to walk the earth forever in a state of living death, turning to brains as your only sustenance. Continue reading:
