Running for two weeks until Monday, September 5 (Labour Day), the PNE offers up an amazing plethora of free concerts, mini donuts, super dogs, and lots of deep-fried delectable treats.

Entry into the Fair at the PNE will only cost you $17 at the gate (or $13 online), but this year the PNE has announced an abundance of options to get in the gates for free. So, save yourself a crisp $20 (to blow on a deep fried Mars bar), and use one of the tips below to get easy access into one of the best events of the summer…

The 2016 ski season is shaping up to be one to remember in Vancouver, with great snowfall on the local mountains. Now, there’s a way to enjoy all the snow on the cheap, and support a great cause.

Every Monday night from Jan. 25-March 28, ladies can ski for a donation of just $10 at Mount Seymour in North Vancouver as part of the Shred for a Cause event. The yearly tradition, now in its ninth year, has raised more than $150,000 for charity … and contributed to countless memorable nights on the slopes.

This year, Mount Seymour has upped the price of admission for ladies ever so slightly, from a minimum donation of $5 to $10, half of which goes to charity. Still, that’s an absolute steal considering that guys have to pay the full evening lift ticket price of $31. Just pay at guest services (no special vouchers needed this year) and enjoy unlimited night skiing from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Continue reading:

What’s better than birthday cake? How about a free 7-Eleven Slurpee!?

On Saturday, July 11, 2015, Vancouver 7-Eleven convenience stores will be giving away free Slurpee drinks between 11:00am and 7:00pm to celebrate their 46th birthday in Canada.

This highly-anticipated tradition is one of Canada’s largest giveaways with nearly 3/4 million Canadians getting the chance to experience brain freeze with a flavour of their choice on July 11th. I think we can safely call this Canada’s coolest birthday party.
