Craft beer, food carts and burlesque dancers: It’s a match made in … Vancouver.

Beerlesque IV rolls into town Friday, Oct. 10, as part of Vancouver Craft Beer Week.  Held ins Yaletown’s Roundhouse Centre, the event brings together 20 local breweries and a lineup of the city’s top burlesque dancers.

Because it’s easy to work up an appetite from all that drinking and ogling, a few of Vancouver’s top food carts will also be on hand.  Meanwhile, Blackberry Wood will be rocking the house with their unique brand of country-gypsy-circus music, completing the “adult carnival” atmosphere.

Perfect Pairing: Craft beer + burlesque dancers at Vancouver’s Beerlesque fest

What pairs better with a fine craft beer than . . . scantily clad dancers?

Craft beer and risque burlesque dancing come together again for the third annual Beerlesque festival in Vancouver’s Roundhouse Community Centre, Friday, Sept. 20.

The unique event fuses two movements firmly in fashion in Vancouver right now.  First, there’s the beer.  Locally made, craft-brewed, hop-infused suds have won a fanatical following among city drinkers.  Accordingly, 15 breweries will be on hand to showcase the best brews that B.C. has to offer.  The lineup includes local favourites like Central City, Parallel 49, Steamworks and Red Truck, as well as Vancouver Island’s Lighthouse, Driftwood and Vancouver Island Brewing.
