September means fall fashion. Vogue debuts its door stop fall fashion guide. Vancouver celebrates its first Fashion’s Night Out, Sept. 6, when retailers offer deep discounts for one glamourous night. Main St. hosts the autumn local designer show case Spend on Trend, Sept. 14-16. But more on those events later.
In this post, I’ll cover the latest store openings in Vancouver’s main shopping corridor: Robson Street. If you’re shopping in Vancouver, Robson Street is the favourite retail and strolling thoroughfare. It’s the second-most-expensive retail street in Canada after Toronto’s Bloor Street. Although some speculated that Vancouver’s retail corridor would shift, Robson Street has rallied with some exciting updates.
Even if you don’t need a first day of school outfit, there’s an irresistible urge to banish cut-offs and browse the richly-hued, new season window displays.
