TED2018, the next TEDtalks Vancouver event, is fast approaching. The event, held from April 10 – 14, 2018 will be a who’s who of international innovators, educators, and entrepreneurs.
The cheapest tickets to the conference ($5000USD) have already sold out. So, if you’re not willing to fork out $25,000USD to attend the event, you’ll have to look for other ways to watch.
One great option, is the fourth annual #ninjaTED event hosted by singer/songwriter/author, Amanda Palmer. Returning to the Vogue Theatre on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, this event will “feature so many special guests your head will fall off”. Tickets to the event just went on sale and are listed as only $19.99 each.
The last event, held in 2016, featured a wild array of guests that included Adam Savage from Mythbusters, Chris Hadfield, Damian Kulash of Okay Go and the Canadian National YoYo and Kite Flying Champions, to name a few.
There are no hints yet as to who might attend the 2018 #ninjaTED event, but a scan over the current speakers listed on TED2018 might give you a few hints. Essentially, it boils down to a random list of whoever Amanda Palmer can convince to show up and speak!
The event sells out quickly, so it’s a good idea to grab a pair of tickets as soon as you can. This year, tickets are available online and cost $19.99 with proceeds going towards the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. The event is all ages and doors are at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8:30pm.
