Vancouver’s First Zero-Emission Electric Boat Tours Launching in Coal Harbour this Spring

This summer, tour the city by hopping aboard an electrically powered 12-passenger boat! This unique and intimate Electric Harbour Tour will give passengers spectacular views of Vancouver’s Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and Canada Place. The tour experience will begin  in May with two boats: Elektra One and Elektra Two.

Electric Harbour Tours’ first offering will be a Coal Harbour e-tour, departing from Harbour Cruises’ marina, just west of the Westin Bayshore on Coal Harbour. The 45-minute, narrated tours will dive deep into Vancouver’s history, sharing facts about architecture, landmarks and Indigenous history. The electric vessels are ultra-quiet and will sail past Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and the Port of Vancouver providing passengers with stunning views of the North Shore mountains and Vancouver city skyline.

“With the addition of Electric Harbour Tours, guests will now have an opportunity to see and experience our spectacular city, park, mountains and waterfront from the water which is one of the best ways to experience the world-renowned beauty of Vancouver,” said Jason Bryant, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, WESTCOAST Sightseeing.

The boats are 100% electric with lead-acid batteries holding a 10-hour charge and will receive a boost charge while docked. For more information or to book a tour, visit
