If you’re running out of ideas for date night, the Vancouver Morgue has got you covered… On Tuesday, September 11, the infamous ‘Movies in the Morgue‘ event kicks off for a new season.
If the title didn’t already make it clear, ‘Movies in the Morgue’ is just that – screenings of thrilling, creepy, and dramatic movies in the Vancouver Police Museum every second Tuesday of the month.
Starting up again on September 11, you’re invited to watch The Blues Brothers, and don’t forget to bring a blanket or two so that you can cosy up in the old City morgue.
For the 2018/19 season, the Movies in the Morgue is full of a year’s worth of high speed chases, heists, and grand theft autos waiting for you in the old City morgue.
It’ll be a test of your bravery to see if you’re ready to cosy up by the shiny morgue drawers, right outside the original autopsy suite, just one floor above the abandoned laboratory to watch a movie…
If you can believe it, this monthly Vancouver event is extremely popular, so if you want to go check it out for yourself, make sure to reserve a spot well ahead of time as seating is limited and tickets go quickly! It’s a good idea to book now to avoid disappointment.
Check out what’s in store for with the schedule of this year’s Movies in the Morgue event:
