NYE at Robson Square

If you want to avoid the large crowds at the NYE Fireworks Celebration closer to the Waterfront of Downtown Vancouver, head to the family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations that take place at Robson Square ice rink.

Head there at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. for free early countdowns to 2019, as well as live music and DJs, and free ice skating. Live shows start at 4 p.m. and finish around 10.30 p.m, so you can still go to later New Year’s Eve celebrations in the city afterward. Ice skating is available on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
