With a weekend of non-stop entertainment, performances by major musical acts, BC’s biggest outdoor patio, and more, you would expect the 2019 Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival to be a pretty pricey ticket. But – this epic summer festival is 100% free to attend!

That means, for exactly $0 you can have access to live music concerts from headliners K-OS, Yukon Blonde, and Jill Barber, along with family-friendly activities including circus workshops, face painting, arts & crafts projects, and a whole lot more. Plus, you’ll also get the chance to see world-class Dragon Boat racers showcase the pinnacle of the sport in action-packed races.

The Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival will be taking place from June 21 – 23, 2019 in False Creek near Science World and is free to get in.

For 2019, the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival is bigger than ever before with 125,000 people expected to attend, including 6,000 competitors.

Teams from around the world fly in for the continent’s most competitive race from across Canada, the United States, and overseas. While the top athletes are competing for medals and awards, spectators can also enjoy an exciting line-up of free concerts showcasing top Canadian artists.

This year’s festival will also feature the Red Truck Patio, BC’s biggest outdoor patio!

Measuring almost seven acres (three hectares), the Red Truck Patio is Vancouver’s largest licensed patio, offering front row seats to False Creek racing action and live concerts on the Main Stage.  A selection of craft beers from Red Truck will be served throughout the festival, along with cider and wine. The all-ages patio will also offer non-alcoholic beverages.
