Exclusive screening of Ice on Fire, produced by Leonardo Dicaprio and Leila Conners, to be shown at the Sustainable Production Forum

See an exclusive film screening of the hit HBO Documentary, Ice on Fire produced by Leonardo Dicaprio and Leila Conners, which gained a standing ovation at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

This Vancouver screening of Ice on Fire is part of the Sustainable Production Forum, an open-to-all, two day event.  SPF focuses on the pressing issue of sustainability within the motion picture and entertainment industry and is a one of a kind event that explores sustainable production solutions at all levels and features stakeholders from around the world.

In addition to a screening of Ice on Fire, the 2019 program will feature an industry social, a mix of focused workshops, panels, and notable keynote speakers. President of Sony Innovation Studios, Glenn Gainor, is one keynote speaker, and will be joined by other industry members who’ve worked on big-budget films and television series as well as indie productions; all talking about approaches and pathways to green the motion picture industry. Toyota will also be on-site offering test drives of their new zero-emission Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicle, the Mirai.

Tickets to the Sustainable Production Forum include access to the social, two complimentary drinks, popcorn, and the Ice on Fire film screening. T

Date: November 2nd
Time: Social begins at 7:00 PM at the Centre for Digital Media with the screening at 9:30 PM at the Reliance Theatre in Emily Carr University.
