November is World Vegan Month, and Vancouver’s restaurants have got you covered for your plant-based needs. Keep warm and full in Vancouver this fall and winter by checking out these must-try options for every meal of the day!

Vancouver boasts several excellent plant-based eateries, but the menus of more mainstream restaurants and chains have also elevated their vegetarian and vegan offerings. If you choose to eat plant-based, gone are the limited choices of yam fries, salad, soup and edamame—and leaving hungry.

While I am not vegan, plant-based, or vegetarian, I like tasty food. And some of my favourite dishes to cook at home or eat at restaurants are plant-based. Last year, I explored and shared the comfort food offerings of Vancouver’s plant-based restaurants. (They 100% still apply.) This year, I combed through the menus of several non-plant-based restaurants and and found some options to suit for all the meals of the day—including dessert!
