The festival runs Feb. 13-25 at various venues. Pre-sale tickets began Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. General tickets go on sale this Friday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. at JFLNorthWest.com. For more about the fest and performers, including selected highlights, see below.

Besides stand-up performances, JFL Northwest includes improv, sketch comedy, and live podcast tapings.

Here are some highlights:

Bill Burr (Fri., Feb. 21 at 7 and 9:30 p.m., Queen Elizabeth Theatre, 630 Hamilton St.)—The famously acerbic American comic shot his sixth hour-long special this year. Of course, he has his own podcast, Bill’s Monday Morning Podcast.

Hannah Gadsby: Douglas (Mon., Feb. 24 and Tues. Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m., Orpheum Theatre, 601 Smithe St.)—Gadsby’s multi-award-winning stand-up show Nanette has put this Tasmanian comic on the world map of comedy. While Nanette took its name from a random barista, Douglas is apparently “a very specific dog,” according to the media release, “and the only thing they have in common is they’ve inspired Hannah to put pen to paper and turn out a show you couldn’t possibly expect.

Middleditch & Schwartz (Sat., Feb. 15 at 8:30 p.m., Orpheum Theatre)—Thomas Middleditch is an Emmy-nominated comedian and actor who can be seen on HBO’s Silicon Valley. How Did This Get Made? Live! (Sat. Recent subjects include the 1993 Madonna flick Body of Evidence and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives!
