The Vancouver International Wine Festival (Feb 21-March 1) approacheth. With seminars, special events, minglers, and sit-down dinners, as well as an international tasting room, the annual event is one of the city’s most anticipated, at least by oenophiles.

The dinners are an especially hot ticket. Along with a tasty way to learn more about wine, they offer a chance to network with professionals in the food and wine industry and enjoy a special dinner prepared by some of the city’s best chefs. Each dinner focuses on a different participating winery in the festival, and builds their menu around the wines paired during the dinner.

While many of the dinners are sold out, some still have spots available. Note: tickets to these events are only available until 11:59 p.m. tonight, Feb. 13.
