Ski or Snowboard All Night

Have you ever dreamt of hitting the slopes at 2 am? Or greeting the dawn while carving some perfect S-curves? Make it a reality. Grouse Mountain will run their chair lifts for 24 hours straight. Lights on the popular runs like the “The Cut ” let you keep shredding all night.

Dance Your Heart Out

DJs will be spinning music live all day on Saturday. Head to the Mountaintop Plaza to listen to your favourite songs and get your groove on.

Stretch it Out at a Yoga Class

Skiing can make you stiff, so stretch it out at a yoga class. But don’t worry: you won’t be attempting to flow into downward dog in your snow gear. These classes take place inside the Grouse Mountain chalet on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Register in advance to reserve your spot.

Ice Skate Under the Stars

Lace-up your skates and glide around the mountain top skating pond. The rinkside lights will be on throughout the night, giving you lots of time to perfect the double axle you’ve been working on.

Snowshoe in the Dark

Join one of three different guided tours and trek around on snowshoes by headlamp. If you want to light up the night, bring your glow sticks and twinkle lights, then sign up for the guided GLOWshoe Tour. For chill vibes (and amazing photos), choose the Sunrise Snowshoe Tour. And if you’re into sweet treats, don’t miss the Snowshoe and S’More Tour. All tours require advance registration.

Watch the Fireworks

Get ready to ooh and aah as the night sky lights up with bursts of colour. There’s a fireworks display at 10 pm on Saturday. Head to the Mountaintop Plaza for front row seats. Or enjoy the show as you zip down the slopes.

Have a Hoot Learning About Owls

Head to a ranger talk on Saturday night. You’ll learn all about owls and other night creatures. You might even get to meet one of the mountain’s resident owls.

Enjoy the Apres Scene

Grouse Mountain’s Altitudes Bistro will be open until 3 am. Fuel up between runs with beer specials from Granville Island Brewing and giant plates of nachos to share.

Ride the Free Shuttle Bus

Getting to and from 24 Hours of Winter in the middle of the night is easy. Grouse Mountain is offering a complimentary shuttle bus from 12 am to 7 am. It stops at Grouse Mountain, Edgemont Village, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and the Lonsdale Quay.
