Experience the upcoming Jurassic World Live Tour, an exhilarating arena show for families, as it brings the same prehistoric wonder and dinosaur thrills from the blockbuster dino park film franchise for a new generation of fans. Its highly anticipated Canadian premiere comes to Vancouver for two action-packed weekends at the Pacific Coliseum from May 19-21 and May 26-28.
Featuring some unrivaled production design, Jurassic World comes to life against the backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic films, including the fan-favourite Velociraptor named Blue and a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than 40 feet in length, both take centre stage.
The production features more than two dozen film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs with scale, speed, and ferocity operated by animatronics and performers. Fans of the popular Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will also recognize Bumpy, the friendly and food-motivated dinosaur, as she goes from baby to adult in flash.
Jurassic World‘s unmistakable musical score combined with its projection technology and practical scenery will transform the arena into the dense jungles of Isla Nublar where real Gyrospheres roll through the valley and scientists work to unravel a corrupt plan and save a new dinosaur from a terrible fate. With pulse-pounding stunts and an original, authentic storyline, the Jurassic World Live Tour aims to make memories to last another 65 million years.
Guests will also have the opportunity to start their adventure early with a special pre-show experience. By arriving an hour before showtime, audience members can see their favourite Jurassic World dinosaurs and vehicles up close and personal with fun photo ops alongside the Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Baby Bumpy, iconic JW Jeep, and Gyrosphere.
