Live Entertainment
NYE at TIC @ The Improv Centre – 7pm, 9pm & 11:15pm
Bid 2023 a fond farewell with some libations and laughter by heading to Granville Island for an evening of fun and frivolity. Three different showtimes make ringing in the new year easier. With scenes based on highlights from the past year and aspirations for 2024, this show will surely kick the year off with laughter and levity.
Cirque NYE @ Science World – 9pm-2:30am
Dress to impress at this massive semi-formal NYE celebration inside the Vancouver landmark among 1,200 other guests. There will be three music rooms on two floors featuring 10 DJs, live musical performances, and five bars. A host of circus-themed performance artists, including silk aerialists, contortionists, LED dancers, stilt walkers, and more, will entertain you.
New Year’s Eve with Queer As Funk @ Wise Hall – 9pm-1am
The Vancouver LGBTQ band returns to the East Vancouver venue to ring in 2024 for what promises to be the liveliest queer-friendly celebration in town.

Family Activities
Noon Year’s Eve Countdown @ Kidtropolis – 10am-1pm
Looking for a much earlier kid-centric NYE countdown? Try Kidtropolis’ unique daytime celebration at their indoor playground in Richmond. Activities include a balloon drop, a bubble wrap dance party, and a colouring station.
Other family-friendly day activities for New Year’s also include ongoing holiday festivities at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Cypress Mountain, FlyOver Canada, Stanley Park, and VanDusen Botanical Garden.
There’s also the option of NYE ice skating at Cloverdale Arena in Surrey, Kensington Complex in Burnaby, Winter Wonderland in Richmond, Robson Square, or Shipyards Skate Plaza in North Vancouver.
