Get ready for Messi! It’s official. He’s coming to town. The Vancouver Whitecaps FC (VWFC) announced their 2024 Major League Soccer (MLS) season schedule and for the first time ever, the Lionel Messi-led Inter Miami CF soccer team will play a long overdue match at BC Place to square off against the Caps next spring on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

For those not familiar with international soccer, or “European football,” Messi is a really big deal. The reigning World Cup champion Argentine professional footballer and global superstar is widely regarded as one of the all-time greatest athletes in the entire history of the sport.
It’s a safe bet all 54,500 seats at BC Place will sell out and be filled for the first time for a Whitecaps match to witness Messi’s Vancouver on-field debut next year.
