Vancouver’s biggest free art show coming up at Emily Carr University

Vancouver’s biggest free art exhibition returns May 4-19. The Emily Carr University annual grad show, aka The Show, features original works by more than 300 graduating art students from the world-renowned art school. Work is by graduating students from across the school’s degree programs, including Fine Arts, Design, and Media Arts. The work will be exhibited on all four floors of the campus.

The Emily Carr art sale is one of of Vancouver’s most highly anticipated seasonal sales (seriously), with people lining out the door on opening day to scoop up one-of-a-kind art made by Emily Carr students.

Things To Do In Vancouver This Weekend

It’s May! Summer is coming, and what better way to celebrate than with a weekend of shedding some clothes in the form of all the burlesque going on this weekend or a body painting competition? If that’s too fast for you we can do dinner and a movie first – or many dinners and many movies. In fact, how about entire festivals devoted to eating and documentary film?
