The spectacular energy of the Honda Celebration of Light returns for its 27th year on the shores of English Bay, with a thrilling line-up for this year’s festival, featuring Japan, the United Kingdom and home team Canada. The three teams are set to take to the skies on Sat. July 29th, Wed. August 2nd and Sat. August 5th, respectively, in the world’s longest running offshore fireworks competition.

Festival Organizers of the 2016 Honda Celebration of Light have launched an all-new smartphone app to coincide with the 26th year to aid festival goers in enjoying the fireworks competition, the SHOREFEST Concert series and the whole day of festivities. Honda Celebration of Light Fireworks Competition Brings Out International Colours

With less than one week remaining until the 26th annual Honda Celebration of Light fireworks competition, festival organizers are encouraging festivalgoers to “wear their colours” in the spirit of competition, supporting their competing countries- The Netherlands, Australia and the United States.

With a line-up of competitors from The Netherlands, Australia and the United States, festival organizers encourage attendees to get in the spirit of the competition and come out wearing team colours, bring flags and to have fun on social media using the hashtag #celeboflight and their country’s flag emoji.
