A few years ago, it seemed like all music festivals in Vancouver had come to a sad end. Squamish Music Festival was cancelled, Pemberton Festival went the same way. Then, SKOOKUM Music Festival was announced and took over Stanley Park in an amazing spectacle of big name music acts, artists, food, and more.

For 2019, SKOOKUM has announced that they are on hiatus: “Following a successful launch, work is already underway to bring SKOOKUM back as an annual festival starting in 2020.

So, what’s a music festival lover supposed to do for 2019? Luckily, a new festival has just been announced for July 2019 in Squamish. Introducing: the Constellation Festival.

SKOOKUM whets our appetite for next year’s music festival in Stanley Park!

Vancouver’s inaugural SKOOKUM Music Festival ended it’s epic three-day music, art, and food-filled weekend with a final show by everyone’s favourite rockers, The Killers.

Over 50,000 music lovers streamed into Stanley Park, braving weather that was less than perfect, to be captivated by more than 50 stage performances involving some of Canada and the world’s most renowned artists.

Headlining acts for 2018 included The Killers, Florence + The Machine, X-Ambassadors, The Arkells, and Mother Mother.
