“Summer, summer, summertime–time to sit back and unwind.” and keep cool in the sizzling temperatures! Though the Pacific Northwest is a rainforest, Mother Nature turns up the heat at this time of year. And while it’s nice to feel the sun on my face, I won’t say no to a refreshing beverage or a nice beachfront breeze. These are some of my favourite ways to beat the heat in Vancouver.

With the heat wave that’s been hitting Vancouver these past few days (and continuing into the foreseeable future), outdoor pool season couldn’t be coming fast enough!

Luckily, the official opening date for Vancouver’s much-loved outdoor pools is happening soon. So, if you’re ready to plan a day spend dipping into the refreshing waters of a Vancouver outdoor pool, you’re in luck.
