Don’t miss this! Two amazing sunflower festivals in the Lower Mainland on until September 15

There’s something otherworldly about sunflowers, the tall and beautiful flowers that can grow to heights that tower over our heads. Aside from their undeniable beauty, they also make the perfect companion for your next profile picture!

Last year, the Lower Mainland hosted its first-ever Sunflower Festival in Chilliwack from the owners of the massively popular Tulip Festival.

This year, there is not only one but two sunflower festivals to choose from!

The Chilliwack Sunflower Festival is running again for an amazing afternoon in the country, just an hour+ drive away from Downtown Vancouver. Not to be outdone, there is also a new, simultaneous sunflower festival happening in Richmond, still spectacular but a little closer to the city.

Check out the list below:

Chinatown’s young creatives have teamed up with the Vancouver Chinatown Merchant’s Association to breathe new life into the Vancouver Chinatown Night Market— the neighbourhood’s popular annual summer event.

For those who grew up attending the Vancouver Chinatown Night Market, set in Canada’s largest Chinatown, many of usual food and trinket vendors (think blinged-out cell phone cases, toys, Chinese street eats) are returning. The new vendors joining the throng add a tempting mish-mash of handmade wares including hand pies, home accessories, stationary, crafts, jewelry and books.
